2nd World Conference on Children and Youth 2020

The 2nd World Conference on Children and Youth (CCY 2020) was successfully held on 23th -24th July 2020 as an online Conference with over 25 participants representing 15 countries. CCY 2020 welcomed researchers, youth activists, practitioners, and policy makers to this great knowledge sharing platform presented with the collaboration of, The International Society for Research on Children and Youth (ISRCY) and the Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary as Hosting partners, AIESEC Sri Lanka as the Strategic Partner and, The Road to Rights Youth-led Organization as the Resource partner together with The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) as the organizing body.
The 2nd World Conference on Children and Youth 2020 was organized by TIIKM under the theme “Preparing Children and Youth to Face Emerging Challenges in the 21st Century”. This conference was devoted to an exploration of how children and youth can be prepared to face the emerging challenges through multi-pronged action on the part of a range of stakeholders such as governments, educational institutions, media, civil society, international agencies, scientific bodies and others. CCY 2020 was a platform for discussion and encouraged every participant to make a contribution by sharing their unique perspectives and knowledge. The Conference was chaired by Prof. Siri Hettige – Emeritus Professor of Sociology, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
