Bruce Carter, Ph.D. (Associate Professor, Department of Psychology and Human Development & Family Sciences, Falk College; Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, USA) and Miss. This forum offered a unique opportunity to listen to each other, exchange experiences and views, and explore possibilities to find common ground which is critically needed to face global challenges together. Especially Sri Lankan university undergraduates had a  brilliant time engaging with panelists of the Global Youth Dialogue.

The workshop titled “Seven Essential Qualities for Positive Parenting and Raising Successful Children” was moderated by the Conference Co-Chair D. Dr.Bruce Carter discussed each quality, the ways in which parents can come to understand the quality, and ways in which children and youth can be encouraged to develop or enhance these characteristics.
